Txt Message Scam
Hi Neighbourlys
For the last 3 days I have been sent several txt messages saying I have a parcel to pickup. I know I don't have anything outstanding to be delivered. So alarm bells rang suggesting a scam and it is. If you get a similar txt It asks you to follow a link. DON'T. If you have an android device It will upload malware onto it and access any info on your phone.
Delete the message from your phone/device.
It's worth asking Grandparents, Parents and Friends who are not tech savvy if they have had a suspicious txt and help them out.
Below is a link to the NZHerald about the scam.

Cheers, and don't be scammed.

What's your favourite piece of Waikato history?
Car parks inspired a milking shed design that took off around the world and became a piece of Waikato District history.
A hundred-year-old church and gravestones from the 1880s will also feature as the district turns the spotlight on its past for its first Heritage Day on April 20.
