Council Promise
Hi everyone - HDC promised us that it would name a closure date for the Levin landfill by the end of the year. The landfill is causing environmental damage and much distress to Hokio residents and is releasing toxic gases into the air that all Levin residents are actually breathing in ....and here it is nearly the end of November! Some of us are waiting with great anticipation to hear this piece of information. Unlike certain American leaders our Kiwi leaders keep their promises! Come on councillors don't keep us in suspense.
