We Say/You Say: How will you be supporting businesses this summer?

Kia ora neighbours,

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced a $37 million recovery fund for Auckland businesses this morning, which will include 100,000 free vouchers to visit Auckland Council facilities, attractions, and venues.

The goal is to encourage Aucklanders to "rediscover the best of local businesses and visitor attractions" by visiting places like the zoo and museums, or attend summer events organised by community and cultural groups.

Ground shaking

I live in eastern Papakura. For the last few days the ground has been moving as in a mild quake. Never had it this bad before. It's like being on top of a jello mould.
Annoyed to have my "frustration" post removed. Seems doing anti-social acts is fine by Stuff's moderators. Without an outlet, some people look for other ways of showing their frustration.

Over the past two days, our Advanced chef students have been preparing a range of canapés and finger food creates that can be used for entertaining.

Here are some of the dishes our talented chef students showcased -
• Smoked salmon blinis
• Vol Au Vent of homemade puff pastry wth blue cheese and onion marmalade
• Salmon, cream cheese and spinach roulade
• Vietnamese rice paper rolls with Nuoc Man sauce
• Crusting with seared beef sirloin and onion marmalade
• Chicken satay with peanut sauce.
