CALVER, Derek Francis
(Last Chief Postmaster of Wellington). Peacefully, at Clutha Views Lifecare, Balclutha, on October 13, 2021; aged 87 years. Cherished husband of Marie for 39 years, a much loved father and father-in-law of Lyn and Brent (dec) Rae, Casper and Debbie (dec), Darryl (dec), Shane (dec), Genine and Brad Owen, Kimberley and Brad Proctor, a loved Grandad and Dea of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a loved son, brother, brother-in-law and a friend to many. At Derek’s request, a private service will be held on Saturday, October 16, at 11.00am in his home at 92 Eddystone Street, Kaitangata, followed by a private cremation.
