British Airborne Forces 1943-1947. Service No. 14499516. S/Sgt. Glider Pilot. Peacefully at Coastal View Care Centre, Nelson, on Sunday, June 6, 2021. Dearly loved husband and friend of Sandra and the late June. Much loved father and father-in-law of the Reverend Peter and Madeleine, Simon and Claire. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather of all his family. At Roland’s request a private family service has been held at the Hope Garden Of Remembrance Chapel.
