MATAIRA, Pirihira Marjorie (Billie) (nee Rogers)
Passed away peacefully in Wellington, surrounded by her family, on 3 June 2021, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Lt Colonel Anthony Taroa Mataira. Much loved mother of Simon, Richard and Ana and adored grandma to Chloe, Fraser, Rachel, Fergus and Cameron. A service to celebrate Billie’s life will be held at St Thomas’ Church, Maketu, on Saturday 12 June at 10.00am, followed by her burial. A reception will then be held at the Te Puke RSA. Billie’s family would like to acknowledge the loving care and support she received from the staff at Charles Fleming Retirement Village, Waikanae. All communications to Richard on 021 606 716.
