Suddenly and peacefully at Wairoa Hospital on Monday, March 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving whanau and friends. Dearly loved wife of Maurice (dec). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Dale and Noelene, Susan (dec) and Pete Sealey, Carol and Alf (dec) Hook and loved friend of Barry. Much loved Nan to Nicola, Nick and Crystal, Courteney, and much loved great-grandmother to Harper, Carter, and Portia. Much loved Nanny Phyll to her Wairoa Whanau and friends. Phyllis will lie at home, 41 Mitchell Road, Wairoa, where her funeral service will be held at 1.00pm on Thursday, March 4, 2021. Phyllis will then travel home to be with her husband Maurice (dec) in Ellesmere. A funeral service for Phyllis will be held at the Academy Funeral Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch, at 10.00am, on Saturday, March 6, 2021, followed by interment at the Ellesmere Cemetery.
