Of Paraparaumu, formerly of Tauranga and Hawkes Bay. On Saturday 13 October 2018, peacefully at Metlifecare Hospital, following only 16 days after the passing of Barbara, his beloved wife of 64 years. Aged 87 years. Much loved Dad of Anne & Peter (Dunedin), and Pam & Earl (Lower Hutt). Loved and cherished Grandad to Carole & Thierry, and Paul (Auckland). Heartfelt thanks for the care given by staff and Dr Brent Krivan at Coastal Villas over the last four and a half years. Fred’s service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Saturday
