Peacefully in the wonderful care of Hospice Southland on Sunday, October 14, 2018, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Pat. Loved father, father-in-law and Gramps of Christine and Nigel, Thomas, William, and Katherine Edwards; Matthew and Rosina, Olivia, and Sam Tippen (CHC); Damian Tippen; Stephen and Juliet, Lillian, and Jack Tippen (CHC). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jefferie and Maureen Tippen, Noeline George, Julie* and Gerald Herron, Valerie and David* Collins, Denise Cairns, Neil Hogan, Marie and Dennis Kean, and Brian* Hogan. A loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A cherished and respected friend of the Sacred Heart Church community. A Requiem Mass to celebrate Roger’s life will be held in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Road, Invercargill on Thursday, October 18, at 10.30am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 728 North Road, Invercargill on Wednesday, October 17, at 7.00pm.
