DRAINVILLE, Marie Isabel (nee North)

Marie passed away on August 14, 2018, at her home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, aged 72 years. Dearly loved by her husband Richard, and their two sons, Jeremy and Damon. A very much loved sister and sister-in-law of Helen and Terry, Annette and Robert, Tony and Gloria, Catherine, Jennifer and her good friend Gary, Lyn and Ian, Suzanne and Guy, and by all her nieces and nephews. Marie is now at Rest and Peace after her four and half years of battling cancer. Marie is to be commended for her incredible, strength, tenacity and dedication to carry on her life long Nursing Passion. Marie was happiest when at work in a hospital and continued doing so until very recently. A service and cremation is taking place, in Florida, on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Although Marie had lived mostly in USA for almost 50 years she always tried to come "home" at least every 3 years. Marie's wish is for her ashes to come back to Christchurch.
