Peacefully on August 14, 2018, at home with her family, aged 77. Dearly loved wife, mother and grandmother. Best friend and wife of Keith for 56 years. Loved Mum of Karen and Grant Abrams (Oamaru), and Tony and Charlotte Baldwin (Wanaka). Loved Nan of Sam, Alica, Jos, Chloe, Alfie and Ollie, and great-Nan of Penny, Zac and Jed. Youngest sister of Carol* and Hugh Brown; Erice and Neil Hamilton; and Charlie and Margaret Little. A service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at the Wanaka Golf Club, 12 Ballantyne Road, Wanaka, on Monday, August 20, at 2.00pm, where she spent many enjoyable hours with her friends. The family would like to thank those involved with her care over the past three years – Dr Fiona Maclean, Oncologist Dr Blair McLaren and the nurses of the Aspiring Medical Centre.
