Regtl No 070299 (Sapper) 3rd Division New Caledonia WWII. Passed away peacefully at Taumarunui on Tuesday 19th June 2018, aged 97, surrounded by his loving wife Dolly of 70 years and family. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Ken and Jill, David and Jean, Graham and Lesley, Trevor and Carol, and Sue and Brett Holmes. Grandad and Poppa of 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks to St John Ambulance, doctors and nurses of Taumarunui Hospital and district nurses. Ralph’s Service will be held on Monday 25th June at Christchurch (Anglican), cnr Manuaute and Huia Streets, Taumarunui, at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Taumarunui Cemetery.
