HAYDEN, Kevin Leonard

On June 18, 2018, peacefully at Hutt Hospital with his family at his side, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband for 58 years of Yvonne. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Eve, Michael, Lisa and Dean, Dominic and Gabrielle. Cherished grandad of Abbey and Rainer, and George; Amelia, Ruby, and Dominic; Wyllim, and Joel. A funny and cheeky uncle to all his nieces and nephews. We can only imagine the reunion with your beloved brothers, sisters and nephew that’s taking place right now. Special thanks to the staff at Manor Park Hospital and Dr Paul Rowan for the ongoing support to Yvonne and Kevin over the last 8 years. Special thanks also to the staff at the Medical Ward Hutt Hospital for their loving care shown to Kevin and family. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Wellington would be appreciated and may be left online, at the Mass or posted to PO Box 39-393, Wellington Mail Centre. Requiem Mass for Kevin will be held in St Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Park Avenue, Avalon, Lower Hutt, on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 11.00am, and thereafter private cremation at Akatarawa.
