Aged 90 years. It is with great sadness we are to farewell a very special husband, dad, granddad, great-granddad, uncle and friend. Husband of Margaret, dearly loved father and father-in-law of David and Nicky, Alister and Juliann, Joanne and Philip Brownie, and Bronwyn; granddad of Jessica and Kaspar (Dubai), Holly and Karl, Heather and Nick, Josie and Si (Singapore), Hugh; Ben and Nicole, Tim (Canada), and James; and Matthew; great-granddad of Theodore and Freddie, Chloe, and Saskia; loved son of the late Wally and Vera, brother of the late Bryan and Ruth; uncle of Kathryn, Gary and Deb, the late Sharon, Stephen and Judy and families; choir colleague for many years and friend of many. A service to celebrate Noel's life will be held at South Canterbury Funeral Services Chapel, 38-40 Bank Street, Timaru, on Monday, April 23, at 12 noon, followed by interment at the Timaru Cemetery.
