Installing a Facebook Pixel on your website is best practice, and the benefits are great! The Pixel allows you to create custom audiences so your advertising is highly targeted to people who are already interested in your product, service or organisation.
Facebook custom audience examples can be: people who have visited a specific web page, people who have visited your site within the last 24 hours, people who have visited your site before, but haven't been back in a while.
It's also great for remarketing. You can show people an ad for the exact product or service they viewed or added to their cart
