Accommodation Email Scam Alert

I had posted on trade me and several websites about a room for renting.
I got a Facebook message from a girl call "Namid Mary" who asked me to email her friend "Kat Ann" (kathy00ann@hotmail.com) about the room.
Kat and I sent a few messages - she said she was keen to take the room and asked for my bank account or a paypal account to put the bond etc into.

Anyway I got suspicious when she sent the same email through twice when I asked about different things and asked her to send me her Facebook profile as I suspected her of being spam. I got no reply.

I didn't get sent any money however I am worried as I sent my bank account number (I didn't provide password) and in case someone else gets spammed in the same manner.
