isolated and distressed
I am feeling isolated and abandoned.{ I am not in forced self isolation] I am 79 and rely on 3 community meals for companionship as well as a cooked meal. They have all been cancelled. Cooking is not easy for me but I can manage basic things. I went shopping yesterday at 2.30 pm at Stanmore rd New World. The long life milk I buy was all gone, no rice, no sugar, no sanitizer. the list goes on. How can I get the produce I need?? Getting to the supermarket is a challenge at the best of times but to find empty shelves of basic commodities is really distressing. In order to keep our immunity high we need good nourishing meals but it is not easy on the pension.
Lest we forget...
On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.

We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.
