Update on my vaccine pass - how to access without ID or email
We were lucky enough to be able to talk to a MoH representative who gave us some updates on the vaccine pass and how to access it if you do not have a unique email address or the specified ID ...
1. Call the 0800 number - you do not need ID, just your dob and name ( having your NHI is useful) . They can send the certificate by email or post. They are hoping to extend the hours that the number is operational .Currently there is about a 20 min wait time on average .
2. Go to a local pharmacy if it is an advertised Covid vaccination site - again they can email or post the certificate .
You can go in on behalf of someone if you have their details .
Greeting customers costs nothing
I went to New World Bishopdale this am. Deli dept. the young person just looked at me at the counter, no acknowledgement at all. I asked what I wanted and couldn’t resisting saying, how’s your day going? Staff need training like at Mitre 10. Acknowledge the customer!! Hello, what can I help you with today and smile? Not a lot to ask but younger people seem to lack basic greeting manners. Have you found this? Maybe I’m just expecting too much!!

Kiwirail land rental
We pay KiwiRail a rental fee for the lease of a strip of land alongside the railway line. We use the land for vegetable gardening. However we have just received a letter doubling the rental fee plus a charge to draw up the new lease. Has anyone else been effected by this? KiwiRail do nothing with the land on the other side of the fence and the grass grows lank.
