Con

Steve from North New Brighton

Just got a photocopied handwritten letter in my mailbox.

it said

Hi there,
I've just bought a house in your area & I'm looking to buy another one.
I'm a private/cash buyer -
Would love to make you an offer on this place.
Call anytime (smiley face)\
Jackson 021 192 4511

Doing a search for Jackson with 021 192 4511 finds a website with stolen pictures off of Getty images.

As I was in why did "Jackson" not ring the bell?
Why is the note photocopied?

The con is they make a brilliant offer, but cannot pay for something as their money is all tied up in the ongoing "over" house purchase. So you have to send them money to start the buy of your house, such as a house inspection.
