4. WE ARE CLOSED ON FRIDAY MORNING, 25th, FOR OUR AGM. Our branches will open in the afternoon
- North branch – Fendalton library - 03 351 7804 – Open from 2pm
- West branch - Hornby Community Centre – 03 349 5236 – Open from 1pm
- City branch – 250 Colombo Street, Sydenham – 03 366 6490 - closed all day

6. Our CAB volunteers are at the Loft – Tuesday, 29th – 11am-2pm. Upstairs in Eastgate Mall in the Library. Drop in for a chat if you want to talk through a problem.
For our drop in clinics, we recommend phoning on the day to check the lawyer / JP is available.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
