Christchurch liquor store robbed at knife-point
A man wielding a knife did not bother to try hide his face when he allegedly tried to rob a central Christchurch liquor store.
The robbery happened at the Henry's store on Moorehouse Ave about 8.45pm on Thursday.
Police said the man presented a knife, but left empty-handed.
He was last seen heading west towards Colombo St.
A police spokesman said no customers were in the store when the robbery happened, and the shop worker did not report any injuries.
The man was described as being 172 centimetres tall, of medium build, and wearing a dark grey hoodie, blue jeans and tan coloured shoes.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police on 105 and quote file number 191004/9551.
