Gambling harm prevention - wellbeing

The Team from PGF Services - Christchurch

Kia ora whanau. Day 4 of gambling harm awareness week and following up on yesterday's post, today our Wellington office have live streamed a discussion on gaming and gambling. (watch the recorded video here www.facebook.com... )
Today we are focusing on prevention of gambling harm (and other harms) through the five ways of wellbeing. The five ways of wellbeing are:
1 - Connect, me whakawhanaunga
2 - Give, tukua
3 - Take notice, me aro tonu
4 - Keep learning, me ako tonu
5 - Be active, me kori tonu
Local organisation, Allright, has more information on each of these here www.allright.org.nz...
Remember, these are ways to help increase and protect your wellbeing, not another thing to feel guilty about. Work on things one day at time and you'll be amazed what you can build over time. There are many options for more support if you or a loved one are struggling with mental distress, you do not have to wait until it's 'bad enough' or until you've tried everything yourself.

Redzone Dogs

Lena from Richmond

REDZONE DOGS - GROUP DOG WALKS
Hi guys,
I’ve started a Facebook group called Redzone Dogs. It’s a great community where we join and organise dog walks in and around the Redzone. It’s a great way to socialise your dog, feel safer when out and about late at night, and meet locals.
