Need a new vets!

Andrea from Casebrook

I’ve been with my current vets for 20 years but I’m so unhappy at my last couple of visits and the money they are charging that I’ve decided enough is enough.I have 2 dogs and don’t need the vets that often. I’m tired of assumptions rather than diagnoses and I’m having to pay literally hundreds to prove a diagnosis was incorrect and my dog shouldn’t have been treated for a condition he never had! I ended up paying almost $1000 dollars for x-rays as I knew their diagnosis wasn’t right. I feel my vets have become a money hungry machine and I never want to return so I’m looking for good vets in my local area? I did try the Papanui/Merivale vets but they weren't taking on any new patients. Anyone know of a good place? Thank you.

Greeting customers costs nothing

Kay from Papanui

I went to New World Bishopdale this am. Deli dept. the young person just looked at me at the counter, no acknowledgement at all. I asked what I wanted and couldn’t resisting saying, how’s your day going? Staff need training like at Mitre 10. Acknowledge the customer!! Hello, what can I help you with today and smile? Not a lot to ask but younger people seem to lack basic greeting manners. Have you found this? Maybe I’m just expecting too much!!
