Beware of Dodgy Property Manager

Adrian from Broomfield - Hei Hei

I wish to bring your attention to a dodgy property manager, VIP Property Management. Previously had their office in Espom Road and now change to 250 Gardiners Rd, Harewood, Christchurch. The person in charge is Graham Cross.

Either you are a tenant or a landlord, please be careful when dealing with him. He is after your money and leave you with all the mess later. He will collect the bond money but never lodge it with the bond center. He will collect rent on the landlord behalf, but never pay the landlord, and he will disappear nowhere to be found.

I had fallen into his foul play too. I have tenancy tribunal coming after me for bond I never received, and he owed me months of rent that he collected on my behalf. I tried to call him, initially he said the tenant have not paid yet, and later he won't even answer my calls.

Please be careful. A lot of people in Christchurch fallen into his trap. I posting this message to warn everyone on Neighbourly hoping my lovely neighbour will know such a person exist and not be victimised by him.

Greeting customers costs nothing

Kay from Papanui

I went to New World Bishopdale this am. Deli dept. the young person just looked at me at the counter, no acknowledgement at all. I asked what I wanted and couldn’t resisting saying, how’s your day going? Staff need training like at Mitre 10. Acknowledge the customer!! Hello, what can I help you with today and smile? Not a lot to ask but younger people seem to lack basic greeting manners. Have you found this? Maybe I’m just expecting too much!!
