Laptop technician/fixer

Lizzie from Hoon Hay

Hi all,

Looking for recommendations for a place or someone that can fix my daughter's laptop for school. When turned on it freezes at the chrome icon and it doesn't reach the "log in details". Preferably someone reliable and affordable please and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Thanks

Mad Butcher/ Harvest market

Mary from Woolston

I find it hard to understand the logic in closing the Mad butcher/ Harvest market that sell fresh fruit and veg plus a lot of  essential items at a good price, and yet the dairies can stay open  and charge an arm and a leg for everything .Re opening the Butcher/harvest market would help take a lot of strain off the supermarkets and help people on lower incomes. Please back this up thanks Mary

Recycling

Graham from Spreydon

Hey people. If you are anything like me & attempt to recycle as much as possible, because of the virus the recycling depot isn't having people on the sorting belts so all our recycling is going straight to Kate Valley & into the ground. Please if you can hold onto your yellow bin recycling material until the end of the lock-down. Maybe to make space in your bin, sort the bottles out & put them aside, squash all your plastic bottles, do whatever it takes to make space so you don't have to put your bin out until this is over.

Christchurch recycling temporarily halted during Covid-19 crisis

Anna Williams Reporter from The Press

Mixed paper, plastic and glass from Christchurch and Banks Peninsula households will go to landfill, instead of being recycled. If people are struggling to fit all their general rubbish in their red wheelie bin during the lockdown, they can put excess in the yellow wheelie bin - temporarily.
