STOLEN BRIGHT ORANGE BIKE

Brian from New Brighton

STOLEN….BYKE
This bike was stolen overnight from my garage off Hawke St, New Brighton. The thief it would appear was on foot, came up a drive-way through two gates and made some effort to get into the property.
This brazen thief also removed the wheels off a second bike and left with my blue bag which he stuffed with frozen food (all meat products) blue and other items, and would have cycled away on the florescent orange bicycle with pack on his/her back carrying two tyres.
He ransacked all the cupboards in the garage taking anything small and valuable including a drill.
The bike pictured is the only one I have seen of that colour (bright orange) with 3 inch tyres in this part of town or anywhere.
If people could look out for this, I am guessing this person would live within cycling distance of central New Brighton.
Please phone Brian on 02040400007 or message me should you sight the bright orange bike.
See update. Is now trying to sell the bike, he has his partner stole 2 bikes. This is his photo.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Many public rubbish bins are being removed by councils due to the large costs of regularly emptying them. Do you think we can adapt and live without them?

Type 'Not For Print' if you wish your comments to be excluded from the We Say You Say column of your local paper.
