Cambridge Branch Position

Pratts offers our clients the best quality heating, cooling and gas products chosen for their performance and value. This means you can be confident you are delivering an excellent solution for our clients. Cambridge branch is supported by nearby Te Awamutu and Head Office Otorohanga with a team of 3 office staff, an estimator, group manager, and a great team of trades guys. So you won't be on your own, but you'll be comfortable working autonomously.

You will be the face of our new Cambridge showroom. This is a rewarding position that will provide challenge and opportunity for the right candidate. Being able to see jobs through from start to finish and be part of the outcome for the customer makes this role a multi-faceted task oriented position that delivers great satisfaction from seeing the results of your efforts.

This position will include showroom sales along with customer communication, project co-ordination, purchasing and more. This is a core role in the company so the ability to be self-motivated with task focus is a real advantage and allow you to own the role completely. Being able to see the wood for the trees in this multi-faceted role will let you champion it.

The Person

Previous experience in the industry would be beneficial, but not necessary; however sales experience and highly competent computer skills are prerequisites.
You will bring to the position:
- A ready smile for clients and staff alike with an easy ability to communicate with everyone
- You'll enjoy talking with clients to fully understand their needs to then deliver the best solution
- You'll relish the opportunity of working autonomously but still enjoy being an active team member
- You're a self starter with a zest for getting stuck in and making things happen
- You will more than know your way around a computer with excellent computer skills
- You'll know how to identify and manage priorities to ensure nothing is left behind
- An attention to detail that allows you to quickly identify errors before they become issues
- Multi-tasking is your middle name
- You'll be interested in contributing to improving the way we do things as we grow
