Heart 2 Heart

Kim Thompson from

Dear Neighbourly Friends,

We hope you're all keeping safe, well and warm in your cozy bubbles. 3 Weeks into lockdown, we are lucky to be enjoying quality time with our families and pets. We have also been keeping busy (trying to maintain our sanity ;) providing virtual property appraisals to those who have requested them via our new virtual property appraisal website. I guess this is our new "normal" for the time being.

At this time when a lot of us are experiencing distress and fear of the unknown, we have found that sharing friendly chats with our clients, friends and members of our community has been greatly comforting for us and them. We realized early on that there are folks who are alone in lockdown, feeling lonely or overwhelmed. We are thankful to them for reaching out to us. It has been a privilege and blessing to be able to support, help and give back to our community.

Now more than ever, we need each other, so please feel free to reach out to us if you'd like a friendly chat or perhaps need a local errand run or a bit of shopping done. We are fit and healthy, with hearts ready to help.

Please take special care of yourselves. Stay safe in your bubbles and remember to be kind to one another.

We're all in this together and we will get through this together. Let's change our world for the better, one act of random kindness at a time. Imagine what a wonderful world it will be.

Warmest regards,
Kim, Jude, Pete & Vicky

Say goodbye to tyre waste

Tyrewise

About 40% of the 6.5 million tyres Kiwis use every year are recycled, repurposed, or used as tyre-derived fuel. But the rest end up in landfills, stockpiled or dumped.

The good news is now there’s an easy solution to all that tyre waste. It’s called Tyrewise and is New Zealand’s first national tyre recycling scheme.

Tyrewise ensures that tyres in Aotearoa New Zealand are recycled or repurposed properly, saving millions from going to the landfill.

Find out more about the scheme online.
