Stay safe on the roads this Easter *WIN*

The Team from AMI Insurance

Kiwi roads are bound to be busy over Easter with many of us looking to get away and make the most of the break before winter sets in. The team at AMI want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable holiday, so we’ve done the legwork to kickstart your planning.

Check out our safety tips and helpful links below. We’re also running a memorable Easter moments giveaway – read on to enter the draw to win.

Here are a few things to think about before you hit the road:
- Check your insurance is up to date and make sure you’re covered.
- Take time to check your vehicle is safe: check tyre pressure, indicators, windscreen wipers and lights.
- Consider joining a roadside assistance scheme like AMI’s breakdown service.
- Be well rested before you leave and watch out for signs of fatigue. Take breaks often during long journeys.
- Drive to the conditions. Slowdown in wet weather and be courteous of other road users.
- Visit the AMI Hub for some more great tips on safe driving this Easter.

Journeys create memories and there are some great ways you can make the most of your travel time. Here’s a few top tips for a smooth family road trip. We’ve even gone the extra mile for you and, with some great suggestions from AMI customers, created an awesome Spotify playlist for your trip – click here to check out the AMI Summer tunes playlist on Spotify.
