Here are a few things to think about before you hit the road:
- Check your insurance is up to date and make sure you’re covered.
- Take time to check your vehicle is safe: check tyre pressure, indicators, windscreen wipers and lights.
- Consider joining a roadside assistance scheme like AMI’s breakdown service.
- Be well rested before you leave and watch out for signs of fatigue. Take breaks often during long journeys.
- Drive to the conditions. Slowdown in wet weather and be courteous of other road users.
- Visit the AMI Hub for some more great tips on safe driving this Easter.
