This happened last night:

Monday, 29th Nov 2021 at 3 Kings Countdown Supermarket, Auckland @ 9:15pm.

My husband left his iPhone on the checkout counter and remembered it after a couple of minutes. He ran back into the supermarket and found that this dishonest lady swiped and stole his phone.

* Apparently they are locals in Mt Roskill.

Man fails roadside breathalyser test after using hand sanitiser

Kia ora neighbours, an Auckland man was โ€œshockedโ€ to learn he had failed a breathalyser test due to using hand sanitiser before being pulled over.

Ben Shivas had been driving home from work on Thursday evening when he arrived at a police checkpoint in Herne Bay.

Shivas, 26, was surprised to learn he had failed the roadside test despite not having drunk any alcohol that day.

โ€œIt was a bit of a shock, but I knew it had to be an error,โ€ he said. โ€œThe officer taking the test questioned me about the result, and when I told her I hadnโ€™t had any alcohol she asked if Iโ€™d used hand sanitiser recently.โ€
