A very big thank you to our wonderful police dog section
We were lucky enough to have a demonstration from the NZ Police dog section yesterday. Officer Andrew Savage and his partner Arlo joined us to show off Arlos impressive skills. Arlo is off to Wellington shortly to do the last three weeks of his training before graduating and hitting the streets of Auckland. Arlo is 2 1/2 and weighs in at over 40kg.....not something you would want to mess with! The focus on his handler was amazing (which is a good thing!) they ran through obedience and bite training. Lots of questions were answered.....a few curly ones as well! Thank you so much to the NZ Police for sharing Arlo with us.
