Porch Raiders
Just wanted to alert everyone to some shady misfits walking around looking to pilfer postal packages and parcels from outside that have not yet been picked up. Over the weekend, we had a couple of suspicious elements walking down the driveway. It was our neighbour who spotted them. He saw them scouting the houses in the area and followed them discreetly, watching them go down several driveways all along Landscape Road. He has alerted the police and some of us in the neighbourhood. If these “Porch Raiders” run into people, they pretend they are looking for Tim or John or….. They are well prepared with pat answers that make them look like genuine visitors who are lost. They have obviously been walking down other streets in the area and I wonder how successful they have been with robbing other people’s stuff.
