Community Garden from your home

Yash from Three Kings

I have thought of what seems like a great idea to me. With rising costs of fuel etc, i thought that if we are able to grow somethings ourselves and barter / share with our neighbours, we might be able to bring down our grocery bills.
So on our shared driveway, ive planted perpetual spinach, peas, oregano , italian parsley and chilean guava, and mint. All neighbours are welcome to pick and pluck whatever they want. That way instead of useless pittosporum or some other nonsensical hedge , we have a living hedge of fresh produce.
I Also regulary have stock of bay, rosemary , kaffir lime , curry leaf , thyme, (many varieties), oregano, marjoram, mint , vietnamese mint , which im happy to barter/ share with our community.
Our neighbours in the front like the idea and have offered me their beets and ive passed on some chilli plants and chillies to them( they ate the whole one once and instantly regretted it), but thats a fun story to tell after a few beers!!
