Burglaries in Fowlds Ave
Dear Neighbours,
I live at the St Luke’s end of Fowlds Ave and my house backs on to The Warehouse car park. I was robbed today and so was the house in front of me. Our back doors were completely broken, my door frame ripped off.
They stole jewellery, money, champagne, gift cards, my children’s birthday presents, sneakers, iPad, chargers, chromebook. The loss of sentimental things like photos on the iPad hurts the most. The chromebook is old, so is the iPad, no good to sell but they’ve got things on them that can never be replaced.
My neighbour possibly heard something between 1:30 and 2:30 pm - I discovered the break-in at 3:30. I don’t know if it was one person or more, all I do know is they trampled all over my bed with their muddy shoes in order to ransack all the drawers. I’m still in disbelief.
The crime in this area is escalating - take extra care everyone. Protect yourselves, your property and possessions from those who think it’s ok to destroy homes and snatch what belongs to others.
