My Nice Neighbour nomination
Ronnie Reid has been an icon in the Eastern Bays for many years, mostly due to her many marathons. I first noticed Ronnie when I moved to Mission Bay nearly 15 years ago, running along Tamaki Drive, but what
really stood out was her brilliant smile, her friendly wave and joyful "hello" to everyone she passed. I soon realised she lived right across the street from me we became friends. Over the years Ronnie has shared lemons from the tree in her backyard, her beautiful roses, vegetables from her garden, stories from her past and always a kind word of optimism along with her famous brilliant smile and joyful laughter. She is a beacon of light and love to all and I feel blessed to know her.
Ronnie is most deserving of your Nice Neighbour recognition. Thank you Ronnie for being such an inspiration to us all!
