John Tamihere talks mistakes, Trump and what he'd do as Auckland Mayor

Nick Truebridge Reporter from East & Bays Courier

John Tamihere arrives nearly 30 minutes late for our interview at Stuff's Auckland newsroom.

There is no apology. Nor is there a handshake when he leaves the building.

But this is Tamihere's style – he's unapologetic, he calls things exactly how he sees them and, at times, he will offend you.

Get fit for FREE!

Sarah Moore from Froot Camp

Hi neighbours - wanna get fit for summer? Froot Camp is a boot camp that's been running in Auckland Domain for three years - and it's completely free. Come and train in Auckland's most beautiful park and get fit with a bunch of fun, supportive and friendly peeps.

We train 6pm Tuesday and Thursdays and 9am Saturday (whatever the weather)

It's a great bunch of people and you couldn't train in a more beautiful spot. All fitness levels welcomed, and encouraged. You don't need to get fit before you come, we're here to help you do that.

old real estate signs wanted

Paul from Stonefields

Would anyone have access to some unwanted plastic real estate signs or similar. I am on the hunt for things to chop up and paint to make halloween decorations. Cardboard is too temporary.
