Black kitten found run over at Greenlane roundabout

Ula from Remuera

Tragically I came across a small black cat lying dead in the road today, at the approach to the Greenlane motorway roundabout, opposite the BP garage. People were just driving past it but I couldn't bear to leave it in the road as it is certainly somebody's pet 😢
It was still warm so had only just been hit, died instantly from a fatal head injury. No collar but I took it to Greenlane Vet Clinic in case it had a microchip and they are able to trace it's owner. So if you or anyone you know has lost a short haired black cat (looked young, maybe a year old), call Greenlane. Sorry this post is such a sad one. I have two cats so can empathise. It didn't suffer thankfully.
