What local business will you be supporting in Alert Level 3?

Ripu Bhatia Reporter from Auckland Stuff

Auckland will shift down to alert level 3 lockdown at midnight tonight.

Businesses will be able to operate using contactless options for ordering, pick-up, delivery and payment.

The financial blow of Covid-19 lockdowns on business has been harsh.

Are you planning to support a local business in alert level 3, and if so which one?

Covid-19: Where to get tested and vaccinated in Auckland during Labour Weekend

Caroline Williams Reporter from Auckland Stuff

Kia ora neighbours. It’s still easy to get a Covid-19 test or vaccination, even over Labour Weekend.

On Friday, the Government announced the Auckland, Waitematā and Counties Manukau DHBs would need to have vaccinated 90 per cent of their eligible populations before the Auckland region can leave lockdown.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is asking residents in New Lynn, Bayswater, Rosedale and Redvale to get tested if they are unwell, due to a concerning number of cases in those areas.

We’ve put together a list of all the vaccine and testing centres that are open for all or part of the long Labour Weekend. Click 'read more' for the list.

Ginger tabby found on Wallace Rd

Rachel from Papatoetoe

Hiya, beautiful Papatoetoe people. ♥

It is on a sad note I inform you that someone's beautiful ginger kitty was hit tonight on Wallace Rd 😞 Description: About 1-2 years old, ginger tabby.

I didn't witness the incident, but rather I found him/her on my way home from work this evening. I picked the little darling up, and laid it on the berm (on the left side of the road, not far down from New World.)

For obvious reasons I didn't take photos; if this is your furbaby I am so, so sorry for your loss 😞 I prayed over this baby, and pray you too will find comfort in this grief and loss ♥
