Will you be attending Auckland's pride march?

Melanie Earley Reporter from Central Leader

Hi neighbours, a year on from a controversial decision to replace New Zealand's biggest Pride parade with a march, the organisers say there's no plan to return to the status quo.
Instead of corporate sponsors parading down Ponsonby Rd, since 2019, members of the LGBTQI community now march from Albert Park to Aotea Square. Will you be attending the march this year?

We’re adjusting the electorate boundaries

Electoral Commission

We’re adjusting our electorate boundaries for the next two general elections.

By making sure each electorate has about the same number of people, we can give all New Zealanders equal representation in Parliament. It’s all balance.
If we move one of your electorate boundaries, you could end up in a different electorate to the one you’re in now – so we show you what we’re proposing before we make any changes and give you the opportunity to share your thoughts.
