need to get some legal advice
does anyone know a local lawyer who does free or low cost consults
regarding a boundary fence erected without a fencing notice being served and the low railing has nails too long protruding out of the
wood 1 of my cats was sunning themselves beside it (on my side)
rolled over and got stabbed by a nail,a verge vet bill followed
I have tried council as the fence gos over an old cracked concrete retaining wall and about the nails, not interested as they cant decide if it is a fence or a retaing wall I think a fence as palings are vertical
have tried OSH cant help, have tried ACC in case a person gets sractched cant help. The owner who had the fence erected has
told us on no uncertain terms not to touch aler or deface their fence
sad thing is had they bothered to ask we would have gladly paid
half for a new fence ON the boundary no inside thiers leaving us with
an ugly concrete strip and 2 fences slighhtly apart
