Search parties organised for missing French teen Eloi Rolland
Hi neighbours. A search party has been organised in Piha in hopes of finding French teen Eloi Jean Rolland, whose disappearance has left police bewildered.
Rolland was last seen on CCTV at the Britomart Train Station on March 7 where he caught a train to New Lynn's Fruitvale Rd before walking to the vicinity of Piha Rd and Scenic Drive.
As a mother herself, West Aucklander Cilla Isara couldn't sit and do nothing when she heard about Rolland.
"If my daughter was to go missing in [another] country, I would only hope and pray someone would do the same for me," she told Stuff.
She has organised a search party for Sunday, starting at 11am at Nola's Orchard greengrocers on West Coast Rd near Henderson, depending on the weather. Click "read more" below for more information.
