JOB DESCRIPTION
We are an after school programme provider specializing in programming and robotics. Join our team today.

We provide Robotics and Computer Science after school curriculum to kids aged from 5-15 in 12 different centers in Auckland. You will be responsible for delivering lessons on topics such as Scratch, C#, C++, Robotics (MakeBlockVEX/Arduino). Our students and tutors are dedicated to effective learning and competing internationally in World Robotics Competitions. 

We need you to support our growth and maintain our high reputation. Show that you are dedicated to a high standard of teaching.

Requirements:
You must have strong communication skills to work with kids
Team player who can take on responsibilities
Problem solving aptitude
Confident with Scratch, Python, C++ / C#
Confident with electronics especially with Arduino
Willingness to learn
Have your own car and must be punctual 
Preferred:
Experience working with youth (i.e. advising, mentoring, tutoring, etc.)
Experience with Robotics competitions, VEX IQ, FFL, MakeX etc
Experience with Arduino, MakeBlock, MicroBit or similar educational robots.

This is a causal part time job with plenty of hours that can fit in your schedule, classes are mainly after school afternoons/weekends. Most of our tutors have been with us for a long time, we prefer to have at least 6-months commitment from you in this role. We're looking for tutors to teach in the West Auckland, Central Auckland and North Shore centers at the moment, we will place you in the location close to you/preferred but flexibility to teach in different locations may be required with appropriate notice.

His comments follow a spate of shootings in Otara in South Auckland.

A house was shot at in the third incident of its kind in Auckland on Saturday.
