Drawing Popcorn

Megan from MEGANZ School of Visual Arts

The students at MEGANZ School of Visual Arts have just finished a fun edible drawing exercise. Drawing Popcorn and munching on a few as they went. They used charcoal sticks and charcoal pencils and pen for these works. Drawing Popcorn is very helpful to see changes in form and tone. The method of drawing Popcorn can also be applied to drawing - Faces, clouds, land forms etc. And we even began to see crazy characters within the popcorn, which some students chose to explore further.
If you or your child ( if over age 9) want to join us in Term 2. We would love to meet you. Visit our website for details and contact Megan.
Cheers and happy school holidays.

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
