Central Otago mayoralty race under way

Central Otago major Tim Cadogan, faces a challenge from Cr Victoria Bonham for the mayoral chains.

Five people are running for the Cromwell ward, which has four vacancies, and 11 people are running for the Vincent ward, which has five vacancies.

The Maniototo and Teviot Valley wards each have one nomination.

Eight people are vying for the four seats available on the Cromwell Community Board, five for the Maniototo Community Board (four vacancies), seven for the Vincent Community Board (four vacancies), and five for the Teviot Valley Community Board (four vacancies).
