We are group in the community which has started growing vegetables and fruit. We have constructed these gardens over the last six months. It is open for all to help and enjoy. Most of the first lot of seedlings and seeds were donated from local businesses and fruit trees were purchased from myself. The harvest is to go to those in need in the community. Our future plans are for the community garden is for locals to donate seedlings and time. With the future harvest continuing going to people in community and we planned to run useful garden related courses in between our working bees. See Facebook page Waikanae Beach Community Garden.
