1 in 5 New Zealanders will experience mental illness this year. That's a lot of Kiwis – it could be you, your family, workmates or friends. One of the biggest challenges for people experiencing mental illness is discrimination. We're proud as New Zealanders to have embraced difference in so many ways. However, people are discriminated against every day because of prejudice and stereotypes about mental illness. You can be part of changing this. We are asking New Zealanders to make their own personal pledge to end mental illness discrimination. Covering Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki Regions.
