At Hospice West Auckland, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive health and social care at the end of life at no cost for patients or their families to ensure that when people need the support, Hospice will be there for them. We care deeply about our West Auckland community, and for the past 30 years we have been making sure that every person experiences compassion, comfort and dignity in their last moments.

People who are dying in our care are located in all areas of West Auckland. People tell us they want to die at home, cared for by their loves ones and surrounded by their family. To ensure that people can be cared for in their own home and be as pain free as possible, a pain pump is provided to enable to administration of medication when medicines given by other methods are no longer effective.

We believe that every person deserves access to palliative care irrespective of their place of death. As a registered charitable trust we raise over 50% of our donations directly from our West Auckland Community. With your support you can ensure that Hospice West Auckland is there for you, your family and friends when you need us.
