Auckland North was formerly known as North Shore Community and Social Services. As a not for profit agency - it was formed in 1972 and incorporated in 1975. ANCAD works to support and strengthen community agencies by providing services, advocacy and information.

Our Mission - ANCAD organises and coordinates several key programmes of support for the community to build capacity, capability and wellbeing. Our passion and purpose is to be a part of the process of strengthening community through engagement, enablement and education.

CAPACITY STRENGTHENING SERVICES
Working together we can assist to make your organization stronger, more sustainable and better able to achieve its goals. We offer support on the many diverse issues organisations face.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND ADVOCACY
ANCAD is an advocate for the social service sector, making submissions, talking to MPs and government officials and hosting forums on issues of importance to the sector.

NETWORKING AND FACILITATION
We facilitate networking and information sharing and foster collaboration and joint initiatives among community agencies.

Provides details of fund providers for not for profit groups across the Auckland region. Updated yearly.

WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING SEMINARS
We offer training seminars and workshops on a wide range of topics relevant to the sector throughout the year. You will find a schedule on our website.
