Wise Guys Password Tips!

Jack Matthews from Wise Guys Tech

In this day and age of so many online platforms, making sure you're on top of your passwords is crucial. Here's some Wise Guys password tips to make your life a little bit easier!

- Always, if you can, try to use a different password for every new website you sign up to
- Keep your passwords in a password vault app on your phone or computer (to keep track of them all!)
- Try to avoid using generic phrases or keywords. It's very tempting to do so to make it easier to remember, but these phrases are likely what someone trying to breach your account would use first!
- If you've been using an old password for many years, take some time out of your day to go through some of your accounts and change it to something unique
- At the very least, make sure your most important accounts are as secure as possible (ie, internet banking, Facebook, and Google!)

By following these simple steps, you'll be well on your way to keeping yourself fully protected in today's online world.
