Virus attack?
The best way to stop a virus from spreading to other plants is to remove the infected plant.
This is heartbreaking if it appears on a specimen tree or even on a newly planted treasure. As with humans, there is no cure or treatment for a virus, so a healthy strong tree is vital to resist infections.
I saw this recently in a client's newly planted grove of magnolias. They were reluctant to remove an infected tree, however, the other specimens were at risk as a virus can be transmitted by vectors such as chewing and biting insects. Learn more here www.thetreeman.co.nz...
